What makes a strong contribution

Strong pitches are specific, original and considerate of differences within communities. Show how you will separate established facts from interpretation, avoid sweeping claims and explain unfamiliar terms. We are not looking for promotional copy, unsupported claims or a piece that treats one personal experience as universal.
